WhaleVault - The Key Vault of Choice for Any Platform

Why whale?

Many of our users are still using a browser based on the internet model. Because of this, we have made a browser extension that allows you to access all your graphene accounts from a Web Browser. It works in all common browsers including Brave Desktop, Opera Desktop, Yandex Mobile Android, and Kiwi Mobile Android. It also works in Firefox on Windows and MacOS. You need to install it once and use it all the time you have your browser open.

However, this solution still has security issues. If someone manages to steal your passwords and browser session, they have access to all your graphene accounts.

The secure solution is to introduce a new concept, the one that we call Key Vault. WhaleVault is the key vault of choice for any platform.

We have implemented a solution that allows you to safely access your keys and create a secure connection to the keys in your account, even if it is stolen.

How it works?

If your web browser has whaleVault enabled, it will request an authentication token. You should get an authentication code that you can use to retrieve a connection to the WhaleVault API. This process is initiated by the whaleVault extension that is downloaded by your browser.

This is a secure and trusted extension for the browser and it can safely request a secure connection to your keys that are stored at the key vault.

Then you are ready to make your transactions in a secure and trusted manner.
